Three members of the inaugural Youngstown State women’s lacrosse team were honored for their dedication and hard work in the classroom and named to the 2021 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team, the conference announced on Monday.

Elicia Wells, Piper Mullins and Emma Carter were selected to the academic roster. 

To be eligible for the Academic All-MAC team, a student-athlete must have a grade point average of 3.20 and have competed in 50 percent of her team’s contests. First-year athletes are not eligible.
