Geffrard graduated from Evans Higher Faculty but did not have the opportunity or finances to show up at the school she wished, so she labored her way up in the pet business by finding work at various groomers and animal hospitals.
In 2015, her dream of proudly owning her individual company grew to become a fact: The Paw Store, found on North Clarke Street in Ocoee. Geffrard reported she felt the need to stay nearer to her group and give back.
